New Nörm — Mental Health Center

About New Nörm

It starts with understanding yourself.

Mental health shapes how we think, feel, work, connect, and experience life.

Yet most of us learn remarkably little about how our own minds work.

At New Nörm, we believe understanding your mental health should be as natural as taking care of your physical health.

That's why we're bringing together psychological science, experienced professionals, and intelligent technology to create a more personal, continuous, and effective approach to mental healthcare.

We often start caring for our mental health too late.

For decades, mental healthcare has largely followed a familiar pattern: something becomes difficult, we seek help, and therapy begins.

But mental health is not something that exists only during a crisis.

Our emotions, relationships, habits, stress responses, and thinking patterns evolve every day.

Often, we don't fully understand them until they begin affecting our lives.

What if we designed mental healthcare for the way people actually live?

New Nörm began with a question:

What would mental healthcare look like if we could design it today, using everything we know about psychology, human behaviour, and artificial intelligence?

People don't experience their mental health once a week, during a therapy appointment.

They experience it continuously, through conversations, decisions, challenges, relationships, and ordinary moments.

Yet traditional approaches rarely connect all these experiences into one coherent picture.

We set out to bring those pieces together.

New Nörm grew from an AI-powered mental health platform into a broader ecosystem connecting digital self-reflection, psychological research, and professional mental healthcare.

Our first New Nörm Mental Health Centre in Yerevan brings that vision into a physical space.

A place where technology supports human care, science guides understanding, and mental health becomes part of everyday life.

The people behind New Nörm

Built by people who believe mental healthcare can be better.

New Nörm was founded by Diana Oganesian and Levon Hovhannisyan, bringing together two complementary perspectives: human behaviour and advanced technology.

Their shared vision is to rethink how people understand, manage, and care for their mental health.

Not by replacing therapists with artificial intelligence, but by creating a new model in which psychological science, human expertise, and intelligent technology work together.

Why we started New Nörm

We believe one of the most important challenges in mental healthcare is the gap between what happens in a therapy session and what happens in everyday life.

Mental health doesn't exist only during appointments. It evolves through the experiences, thoughts, relationships, and decisions that shape our days.

We founded New Nörm to help bridge that gap.

By combining behavioural science, psychological expertise, and advanced AI, we are developing a more continuous, personalised, and accessible approach to understanding mental health.

Our first New Nörm Mental Health Centre in Yerevan is an important step in bringing that vision into the real world.

Because better mental healthcare should start with better self-understanding.

Our approach

Three connected dimensions. One more complete approach.

Triadic Modality: the person at the centre, connected with the therapist and New NörmYouTherapistPersonNewNörmTRIADIC MODALITY

We call it Triadic Modality. Our approach connects three essential elements of mental healthcare:

The individual. The therapist. Intelligent digital support.

You
Your experiences, emotions, behaviours, and personal understanding are at the centre of the process.
Your therapist
A qualified professional brings psychological expertise, human connection, clinical judgment, and personalised therapeutic guidance.
New Nörm AI
An intelligent digital support system helps facilitate ongoing reflection, organise relevant insights, and support continuity between professional appointments.

Together, these three dimensions are designed to create a more complete understanding of psychological wellbeing.

The person remains at the centre.

Technology supports the professional relationship rather than replacing it.

Triadic Modality is also the subject of our ongoing scientific research.

Understanding comes first

Understanding yourself is the first step.

We believe the first step in mental healthcare shouldn't have to be a commitment to months of therapy.

It can begin with curiosity.

The New Nörm Psychological Check-up is designed to help you build a clearer picture of your mental health, understand patterns in how you think and feel, and explore which kinds of support may be useful.

One experience. A clearer picture of yourself.

Through psychological assessments, a conversation with specialists, and technology-supported insights, we help you explore your psychological wellbeing in a structured way.

You receive a personal report, insights into your patterns, and recommendations for next steps.

For some people, the next step may be therapy.

For others, ongoing self-reflection and digital support may be appropriate.

The goal isn't to bring everyone into therapy. It's to help everyone understand themselves better.

Technology with a human purpose

Technology built around human understanding.

New Nörm is more than a digital mental health application.

Our proprietary technology connects everyday experiences, psychological assessments, and structured reflection into a more continuous picture of mental wellbeing.

At its core is Mind Graph, part of New Nörm's proprietary data and personalisation infrastructure.

Together with our AI-powered support tools and professional platform, it helps individuals reflect on their experiences and enables authorised therapists to work with relevant information, subject to appropriate consent and privacy safeguards.

We are developing technology not to replace therapists or human relationships, but to give them better tools.

Technology should make mental healthcare more human, not less.

A space designed around you

A different kind of mental health space.

Your environment shapes your experience.

We designed New Nörm Mental Health Centre to feel different from what many people imagine when they think of a traditional clinic.

Warm, welcoming, calm, and thoughtfully designed.

A place where you can arrive without having to identify yourself as someone with a problem.

Where curiosity about your mental health is reason enough to begin.

Our centre brings psychological assessment, professional consultation, technology, and ongoing digital support together in one environment.

Our first centre is opening in Yerevan, Armenia.

Our ambition extends beyond one location: to create a recognisable, trusted experience in mental healthcare, supported by consistent principles of quality, science, and care.

Science at the core

Built on science. Designed to keep learning.

Psychological care requires scientific rigour, professional responsibility, and a willingness to question existing approaches.

Research is an integral part of New Nörm.

Our work explores how artificial intelligence and qualified mental health professionals can collaborate to support more effective and continuous psychological care.

Through our research into Triadic Modality, we aim to understand how structured self-reflection, professional guidance, and digital support can complement one another.

We use established psychological assessment methods and study the potential of new models of care.

Our approach is developing through research, not based on the assumption that technology alone improves outcomes.

Our goal is not simply to introduce more technology into mental healthcare. It is to understand what genuinely helps people.
